Players control Anling, working to secure the safety of her son Cody and ensure he can live on after she turns into a zombie. Utilizing limited resources, players must manage Anling's transformation into a zombie while also satisfying the hunger and thirst of both Anling and Cody. While Anling is still in control of herself, she must teach Cody essential survival skills such as cooking, crafting, and combat. There may be times when she has to rely on her son, Cody, in challenging situations
