In a near future Japan, the government has implemented a system where marriages are arranged to combat demographic decline. Fifteen-year-old high school student Yukari Nejima discovers he's in love with his classmate, Misaki Takasaki. However, shortly after confessing his feelings, Yukari learns he's been assigned to marry Ririna Sanada, a girl he doesn't know. As Yukari navigates between his forbidden love for Misaki and his responsibility towards Ririna, he becomes entangled in a complex love triangle where emotions and governmental laws collide.
