GeGeGe no Kitarō

Kitaro is a young Japanese monster who seeks refuge in cemeteries. Belonging to the Yokai race, he is considered repulsive due to his empty left eye socket, caused by his stepfather who despises him. One day, he reunites with his believed-to-be-deceased father, now reincarnated as an eye. Together, they discover they are not the only Yokai and must maintain balance among them.
