This product, the HDMI Booster V2 (for PCE), connects to the expansion bus at the back of your classic PC Engine console. This allows you to connect the PC Engine to a modern TV using an HDMI cable, making the video output compatible with current televisions.
For example, the early models of the PC Engine (white model) used an RF switch to connect to the TV, a method often incompatible with modern TVs. This product solves that problem by allowing an HDMI connection, making it simple and convenient to play on a modern TV. Additionally, the product includes a switch to adjust the screen ratio, allowing you to enjoy games in standard (4/3) or wide (16/9) formats.
Whether you're a veteran of PC Engine games or a newcomer wanting to explore these classics, this product will enable you to enjoy your PC Engine console on modern TVs.
