The first in the WOVEN IN PAST series, which combines modern art and traditional elements, is a collaboration between manufacturer Beautiful Chemistry and Chinese artist alonelee127. The figure is an anthropomorphized version of the Biwa Hagoromo moth, Biwa Hagoromo Girl.
The body was developed by UV (Underverse), and features 25 movable joints throughout the body. The transparent head part is made of phosphorescent material, further enhancing her mysterious aura.
The coat and backpack were also inspired by the Biwa Hagoromo moth's chrysalis, and are packed with attention to detail in the texture and design.
